STatistical Education through Problem Solving:

Copyright Statement

The STEPS TLTP consortium holds the copyright on the STEPS material. The software is freely available to educational institutions, and distribution within the UK Higher Education community is particularly encouraged.

All STEPS modules contain associated documentation in the form of student and/or tutor notes and a student questionnaire. These documents are in Word for Windows 2.0 format and may be modified for local use as long as the STEPS consortium is acknowledged as the source of the original documentation.

The STEPS Base makes use of the runtime version of Asymetrix Toolbook. Toolbook files are copyright and are supplied only for the purpose of running the STEPS software and must not be used for any other purpose.

Before installing any of the software, please read the full copyright statement and licence agreement.

The STEPS software was developed under the Teaching and Learning Technology Programme (TLTP), funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council, the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales and the Department of Education for Northern Ireland.
